I was shuffling through my camera settings when I found the most peculiar effect. The setting allowed up to 3 colors to be selected. Then a range of each hue could be set. Therefore, I could photograph the colors of brown, blue, and green while leaving the rest of the image in black and white. Also, if I chose to photograph something red, I could photograph the hues closest to red (such as pink) by simply adjusting another setting. I photographed these flowers in Washington state using this effect. I was rather pleased with the outcome. I wanted to photograph the house, but I didn't just want it to be another photo of just another house. So I shot aspects of the house.

Well, this seems to be a day for crazy footwear.

Volunteering at the Daytona Playhouse has been great. The people are always friendly and the shows are always terrific. The show tonight was "The Bohemians: works of the Provincetown Players- A Night of One Acts."
